Suppose you have already checked out the Switchfin source code (please see 'Where to get the source code' section of this FAQ)  on a suitable Linux development PC.
For the requirements of the development platform please check the README file in the root directory of the project.

The next step is to configure the building process. In the Switchfin root directory type:

make menuconfig

A menu will appear with a possibility to select the hardware target and the packages you want to include in the final compilation result.
Each of the item in the GUI contains short description which will help you to identify its purpose. 

As soon as you are ready with your selection please confirm the saving of the configurations.
