All,
I bought a IP02 box (modle with 1 FXS and 1 FXO).
I'm able to register my softphone, even a analog hardphone on the FXS, call the voice mail, call the extensions, setup a external sip trunk, route calls through the sip trunk,..
Unfortunately when I'm routing the outgoing calls to the analog trunk (FXO port), I can see on the asterisk interface (asterik -rvvvv) that the call is correctly routed. Nevertheless, the number I'm calling, the called phone is never ringing. From the calling phone (e.g. my softphone), the call is setup, I can see the seconds increasing. There is loudly noise.
I tried different softphones without success.
I also tried different parameters and local settings about the tone in the hardware configuration without success.
For the incoming calls from the FXO trunk, I even don't see anything in the Asterisk log.
When I bought the box, it was the firmware from ATCOM company running on it. I got the same problem.
Later I upgraded to the last firmware IP02 switchfin available but the problem is still the same.
Could it be a hardware problem ? I have only one box so maybe I'm unlucky and I got a defect version..
Did you experiment similar case ?
EDIT: I tried to different PSTN lines and I have the same problem every time.
When I use a phone line of a cable modem (like motorola SBV5121), I noted that the phone LED is blinking when plugged into the IP02. The LED is not blinking when plugged into a analog phone. I suspect a problem of tone or configuration at the analog interface on IP02.
I configure the opermode and the country.
I tried to enable or disable the echo cancellation without success.
cat /etc/dahdi/system.conf
echocanceller = oslec,1,2
fxsks = 2
fxoks = 1
loadzone = be
defaultzone = be
Thx
