To check the hungry process you can try something like

while true; do top -d1 | head -n 4 | tail -n 1; done;

If necessary modify it to store results in log file.
Please share your results.

I use your default compilation. But I will recompile and install a new firmware again.

As in other thread for slow SSH connection, I think this can alsoe be closed.

I don't think so. High CPU utilization persists few days after the system is up.

No worry. I have found the connection speed back to normal when using FTP protocol. For SSH, I still encounter very slow connection.

However for device maintenance, it is now ok for me to use WinSCP under Windows XP using FTP protocol to connect to IP01. It is far more easy for me. to use this tool than the plain linux vi commands. I can disable any FTP access from the internet world via firewall.

This thread can also be closed because I can't find the high CPU utilization rate after using a new firmware svn 350.
