I can't give you access to the IP04 but I just flashed a PR1 and got the same results.  I can see if I can build you a route into it, (if time allows).

The PR1 was updated manually dropping uImage into imageupdate and rebooting.  It flashes fine but tells me at shell, (watching it with hyperterm on the 232), it flashed successfully and is keeping the config. 

I do not want it to keep the config just so I know I have not caused issues with my own settings.  Is there a way to force it to flash and blow away the current config?

I did, (ya I know this was dumb), did a rm -fr asterisk from /etc  this trashed all of Asterisk.  I was hoping it would trash everything and bring it back to factory upon another flash.  It flashed and said it was keeping the config.  Now the PRI is pretty much trashed, (all due to me).  What file can I delet or change to tell the system not to keep the config upon flashing it again?

btw; I have had to manually upload uImage as since 644 the upload does not work.  It goes through the motions but no file is uploaded.

Just checked uploading of images from the GUI in 644 and its working fine in both chrome and IE 8.

what does your http.conf in /etc/asterisk/ look like?

my compile environment is ubuntu 11.04 so i dont think you will any issues there, your http.conf is wrong tho and that's probably whats causing you to not get GUI upload (or any other system calls)

The bindport needs to be 8888 as in the new builds we only use the asterisk httpd for the AMI (getting and saving configs) the rest of the GUI is run via the busybox httpd on port 80.

Also there have bee allot of changes to the init.d files so i would recommend flashing using the .clear_persistent

btw; I am now on 644 stable.  This IP04 is going into a church with Cisco 504 phone sand some analog phones an integration into their door phone / security system.  Would you recommend I stay with compiling out of the tag for production units? I have not ahd too may issues with trunk files, (most my issues seem self-induced).  :-)
