possible to remote upgrade an image on ip02?

Hello again guys, yes 2 questions in a row, sorry smile

simple question: is it possible in any reasonable way to upgrade the image of a remote ip02 unit?  I can build & compile the uImage here on my end, I am just not sure if there is a way to flash it without taking apart the unit and attaching the serial cable (which is not really a chance for me since this guy is located many hundreds of miles away).

my main reason for wanting to upgrade are:
1) some bug with javascripts prevents me saving sip settings via gui
2) some problem with DHCP means If he ever factory resets the unit or moves it to a different lan router, it will stop working.  would like to get dhcp working.

I believe both of these are solved in more recent (=>SVN 600) builds so that is my main reason.

You can use scp to copy uImage-md5 to /persistent/imageupdate/uImage. Note the filename change! It will apply the image on the next reboot. It might also be a good idea to do "touch /persistent/imageupdate/.clear_persistent", especially if there aren't any settings that you need to keep.

Thanks that is helpful.  I would need to preserve the settings actually since I am going to be remote and would not be able to access the unit if lost ability to ssh into it.  I have remote access to the WAN router so I would be able to see what IP the IP02 is using and possibly modify port forwards if needed.
