LED status of BR4

What is the exact meaning of the CH1 - CH8 LEDs ?. As far as I can tell is when there is a call on a channel, the LED changes from steady green to red.
All channel LEDs are green after power up when the mISDN module has been loaded. It doesn't matter if an ISDN device is connected to or even if the port is not configured. Can this behaviour be changed ? e.g.:
CH LED goes to green when layer 1 is up, otherwise it is off.
When there is a call, the LED changes from green to red.

How can I check if Layer 1 of the ISDN port is up ? (I have to login to the BR4, and then do a asterisk -rx 'misdn show port x')

Re: LED status of BR4

Hi steinwej,

Currently we show if the port is free (green) or if there is an active call (red)
We use dual color LEDs in BR4 Appliance so in general we can show few more different states indeed.

Best Regards
Dimitar
