Compiling results making me think I'm doing it wrong..

I compiled rev. 447 many times thinking I was crazy because I kept ending up with the size of / = 99%  I compiled this on a laptop running Ubuntu 10.10 and on a Mac desktop running Ubuntu 10.10 inside of a VMware container.  I also removed all extra packages, still / = 99%.  Then I deleted /switchfin completely and started from scratch.  Still compiles to / = 99%.

No matter what i did I came up with / = 99%.  ???

Today I deleted /switchfin again to start from nothing to try again.  This time my download gave me rev. 452 and even with the Dahdi extra tools my / = 90%  Yaah!!!

My question is; "if I svn co https://switchfin.svn.sourceforge.net/s … fin/trunk/ switchfin " will it overwrite update my current files and update me with the latest version?

Thanks.

Re: Compiling results making me think I'm doing it wrong..

Hello,

If you do
svn co https://switchfin.svn.sourceforge.net/s … fin/trunk/ switchfin
it will check out the latest version but your local modifications will be kept.
It is similar as the update command in this case.
It is recommended to check out in empty directory only.

Switchfin contains internal and external(mISDN, LEC Asterisk GUI) packages.
To update the external packages you need to execute svn up in the respective dl/ folders. Keep in mind however that the external packages are modified pretty rarely.

Cheers
Dimitar
